– UK, Cirencester – St. James’s Place plc (LON: STJ) announced the appointment of Rooney Anand to its Board as an Independent Non-executive Director effective from 1 January 2025.
“I am delighted that Rooney has agreed to join the Board, bringing with him a deep customer perspective rooted in brands and data, with extensive experience of running customer-focused organisations. As a former FTSE 250 CEO and FTSE 100 SID, he has broad commercial and financial experience which will benefit both the Board and the wider organisation.” said Board chair, Paul Manduca.
Rooney Anand will also join the Risk Committee and Remuneration Committee.

Rooney Anand has extensive experience in the consumer sector having held executive and non-executive roles at retail and hospitality organisations. He previously served as CEO at Greene King and as senior independent director of WM Morrison Supermarkets Limited. Rooney is the non-executive Chair of RedCat Pub Company Limited and Purity Soft Drinks Ltd. He is also a director of other companies within the RedCat Pub group, including RedCat Leased Pubs Limited, which is in administration.
