– GUERNSEY, St. Peter Port – Schroder Oriental Income Fund Limited (LON: SOI) announced the selection of current Board member Nick Winsor to succeed Paul Meader as Chair of the Board of Directors from the AGM on 3 December 2024.
Paul Meader will not seek re-election to the Board at the forthcoming AGM.

Based in Asia and having worked in many countries across the region, Nick brings a wealth of knowledge and experience of the region combined with a strong track record in leadership positions and more recently as a non-executive director.”
About Nick Winsor
Nick Winsor was appointed to the Board in March 2020 and was appointed as chair of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee in November 2020. Nick Winsor has more than 35 years of retail and commercial banking experience with HSBC Group in several international markets. Nick is a non-executive director of Metro Bank plc and Metro Bank Holdings plc and a member of the latter’s Risk Oversight and Audit committees. He is also the Senior Independent Director of the States of Jersey Development Company, Chair of the Remuneration and Nomination Committee, and a member of the Audit and Risk Committee. Nick is a non-executive director of Bankers without Boundaries, a not-for-profit investment bank, and the Chair of Autism Jersey.
