– GUERNSEY, St. Peter Port – Schroder Oriental Income Fund Limited (LON: SOI) today announced the appointment of Sam Davis to its Board as an independent non-executive director effective from 1 July 2024.
Sam Davis will also join the audit and risk, nomination and remuneration, and management engagement committees.
About Simon (“Sam”) Davis
Sam Davis is a non-executive director of Allianz Technology Trust plc and The Baillie Gifford Japan Trust plc and is Chair of the Management Engagement Committee of the latter. Sam was previously CEO of Putnam Investments Limited and Co-Head of Equities at Putnam Investments, where he oversaw a global investment team. He has more than 20 years of experience in investment markets, having worked in different roles as Portfolio Manager, Director of Research, and Co-Head of Equities, and has managed Asian, European, and broad international equity portfolios.
