– UK, London – Schroder Oriental Income Fund plc (LON: SOI) today announced the appointment of Isabel Liu to its Board as an independent non-executive director, effective from 4 November 2021.
Ms. Liu will also join the audit and risk, nomination and remuneration, and management engagement committees.
About Isabel Liu
Isabel Liu has 25 years’ global experience investing equity in infrastructure. She started her investment career in Asia with the $1 billion AIG Asian Infrastructure Fund. She was Managing Director of the Asia Pacific investment business of John Laing plc. After relocating from Hong Kong to London, she was Investment Director for the €1 billion ABN AMRO Global Infrastructure Fund. Most recently Isabel served as Board Director at Pensions Infrastructure Platform, sponsored by UK pension schemes. She has also been Chair of the Audit Risk Assurance and Remuneration Committee as a Board Member of Transport Focus. Isabel holds a BA in Economics from the Ohio State University, a Masters in Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School, and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
