Schroder UK Mid Cap Fund announces Board member Harry Morley as next Chair of the Board of Directors

– UK, Glasgow –  Schroder UK Mid Cap Fund plc (LON: SCP) announced the election of Harry Morley to succeed Robert Talbut as Chair of the Board of Directors at the AGM on 24 February 2025.

Wendy Colquhoun, Senior Independent Director, commented: “The Board is very pleased to announce the appointment of Harry as Chair. Harry brings an array of knowledge and experience, paired with a distinguished track record in leadership positions.”

About Harry Morley

Harry Morley was appointed a non-executive Director in September 2023 and has since acted as Chair of the Remuneration Committee. He was previously CEO of Armajaro Asset Management LLP and was the co-founder and CFO of Tragus Holdings Ltd, owner of Café Rouge and Bella Italia restaurant chains. He also worked in the shipping industry for P&O. He qualified as a chartered accountant with Price Waterhouse.

Harry Morley is a non-executive Director and Chair of the Audit Committee for JD Wetherspoon plc, and the Senior non-executive Director and Chair of the Audit Committee for TheWorks.co.uk plc.
