– UK, Cirencester – St. James’s Place plc (LON: STJ) today announced the appointment of Dominic Burke to its Board as an Independent Non-Executive Director effective from 1 November 2022.
“I am delighted that Dominic will be joining the Board of St. James’s Place plc. He is a well-regarded leader within the financial sector and brings with him a wealth of experience as a director”, said Board Chair, Paul Manduca.
Dominic Burke will also join the Risk Committee and Audit Committee.
The company also announced that Simon Jeffreys and Roger Yates will retire from the Board at the conclusion of the 2023 AGM.
About Dominic Burke
Dominic Burke has significant experience in the financial sector and has spent his career in the insurance industry. In 2000, Dominic joined the Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group plc following the acquisition of the Burke Ford Group of companies that he had co-founded, and from 2005 he took on the role of Group CEO until the company’s 2019 sale to Marsh & McLennan Companies, Inc. Dominic held the position of vice chair of Marsh & McLennan until January 2022.
Since 2011 Dominic has been a non-executive director and the chair of Newbury Racecourse plc.
