– UK, Farnborough – QinetiQ Group plc (LON: QQ) today announced the appointment of Steve Mogford to its Board as an Independent Non-Executive Director effective 1st August 2022.

About Steve Mogford
Steve Mogford was appointed CEO of United Utilities Group PLC in March 2011. FTSE100 listed, United Utilities provides water and wastewater services to approximately seven million customers in the North West of England.
Having qualified with a first-class honors degree in astrophysics, maths, and physics from London University, Steve started his career at British Aerospace in its North West based military aircraft business. During his long career with the company, he held several senior positions before being appointed COO and a member of the BAE Systems plc Board. Steve Mogford then joined Finmeccanica, Italy’s principal defense and security company as CEO of SELEX Galileo. Steve Mogford served on the board of G4S plc as senior independent director up to its acquisition in 2021.
