About Steve Mogford
Steve Mogford is an experienced Executive and Non-Executive director with extensive expertise in the utilities and aerospace industries, together with extensive public markets experience and a deep understanding of long-term contracting, projects, and regulation. Most recently he was CEO of United Utilities Group PLC from 2011 until March 2023 and led significant growth during that period. During his 30 years at BAE Systems plc, Steve held various senior positions before being appointed COO and a member of the board. He then joined Finmeccanica, Italy’s principal defense and security company as Chief Executive of SELEX Galileo. He was previously the Senior Independent Director of G4S plc.
Steve Mogford is the Senior Independent Director of QinetiQ Group plc, a leading science and engineering company operating primarily in the defense, security, and critical infrastructure markets. He is also a Non-Executive Director of Costain Group plc, an FTSE Small Cap construction, and smart infrastructure solutions company,y and serves on their Audit, Nomination, and Remuneration Committees.
