– UK, London – JPMorgan UK Smaller Companies Investment Trust plc (LON: JMI) today announced the appointment of Katrina Hart to its Board as an independent non-executive Director with immediate effect
About Katrina Hart
Katrina Hart is currently a Non-Executive Director of Montanaro Asset Management Ltd, Blackrock Frontiers Investment Trust plc, Keystone Positive Change Investment Trust plc, Polar Capital Global Financials Trust plc and AEW UK REIT plc. She was previously a Non-Executive Director of Premier Miton Group plc.
Mrs. Hart has longstanding financial markets expertise and extensive Board experience. She commenced her executive career in corporate finance and UK small-cap research at ING Barings & Hawkpoint Partners within the Corporate Finance Department and then joined HSBC as an equity research analyst. Following this, Mrs. Hart became a Director in Equities Research at Bridgewell Securities and Canaccord Genuity.
Mrs Hart brings a wealth of experience to the Board, gained from her roles in corporate finance and equity research and, subsequently, her involvement as a Non-Executive Director of both investment trusts and asset management companies. The Board believes Mrs. Hart will be a valuable addition to the Board.
