– UK, London – JPMorgan Emerging Markets Investment Trust plc (LON: JMG) announced the appointment of Dean Buckley to its Board as a Non-Executive Director effective from 2nd January 2025.
About Dean Buckley
Dean Buckley is an experienced investment professional who has held senior positions in several asset management firms during his career. He was CEO of Scottish Widows Investment Partnership and held several senior positions at HSBC Holdings plc, most recently as CEO of HSBC Asset Management UK & Middle East.
Dean Buckley is the Non-Executive Chairman of Alliance Witan PLC, Fidelity Special Values PLC, and Evelyn Partners Fund Solutions Limited. He is also a Non-Executive Director of Baillie Gifford & Co. Limited.
Dean Buckley has held senior fund management positions at Prudential Portfolio Managers and was a Non-Executive Director of Saunderson House Limited. He was also Chair of the Audit Committee, and Remuneration Committee and Senior Independent Director of JPMorgan Asia Growth & Income plc.
Dean Buckley is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries.
