Invinity Energy Systems appoints Kristina Peterson to its Board as Independent Director

– UK, London –  Invinity Energy Systems plc (LON: IES), leading global manufacturer of utility-grade energy storage, today announced the appointment of Kristina Peterson to its Board as an Independent Non-Executive Director with immediate effect, bringing over 25 years of executive experience across the renewable energy, cleantech, and investment banking sectors.

About Kristina Peterson

Kristina Peterson began her career in investment banking, holding senior positions within the structured and project finance power and telecom teams of ABN AMRO and Citibank. Since moving into the renewable energy and cleantech sector in 2007, Kristina has held senior executive positions within Brookfield Renewables (NYSE: BEP), one of the largest publicly-traded renewable power platforms, EDF Renewable Energy (EPA: EDF), and global solar panel manufacturer Suntech. She currently holds the position of SVP, Power, and Renewables with energy sector AI contract analytics software firm ThoughtTrace. She has built solar portfolios that deployed over $2.8bn in equity and mezzanine debt capital and has developed and managed over 2 GW of solar operating assets in her career to date.

Kristina earned her MBA in Finance from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. She is an American citizen and is based in San Diego, California.
