Gfinity appoints John Clarke to its Board as Non-Executive Director

– UK, London – Gfinity plc (AIM:GFIN), a world-leading esports solutions provider, announces that John Clarke, who recently held senior positions at HEINEKEN N.V. and Lagunitas Brewing Company, has joined the Board of Directors as a Non-Executive Director, with immediate effect.

John George Clarke is a business professional with more than 25 years of international experience gained working in and with leading global companies. John has lived and worked in London, Hong Kong, New York, Singapore and the Netherlands. Since 2010 John has worked for HEINEKEN N.V. where he held the position of Head of Global Communications and, most recently, as a senior commercial director within Lagunitas Brewing Company, a 100% owned subsidiary of HEINEKEN N.V. Previously he held senior leadership, corporate affairs and marketing positions within The American Express Company and Burson-Marsteller Public Relations.

Further to the appointment of Garry Cook as Executive Chairman in May, plus the appointment of Graham Wallace as Global Chief Operating Officer and Executive Director in July, the Company also announces that in-line with the Board’s succession plans, they will now assume day to day responsibilities of the Chief Executive Officer. Neville Upton will remain engaged with the business in the role of Founder and President.
