Darktrace announces Jill Popelka and Paula Hansen to join its Board as Independent Directors

– UK, Cambridge –  Darktrace plc (LON: DARK), a global leader in cyber security AI, today announced the appointments of Jill Popelka and Paula Hansen to its Board as Independent Non-Executive Directors effective from 1 January 2024, bringing both substantial experience of leading global, high-growth software organizations across sales, marketing, and partnerships and scaling complex businesses through rapid growth, with a particular focus on the US market.

About Jill Popelka

Jill Popelka was most recently Head of Enterprise Services at Snap Inc. Before this, she spent more than a decade at SAP where she served as President of SAP SuccessFactors, a cloud-based human capital management software provider. Under her leadership, SAP SuccessFactors grew to serve more than 7,000 customers, with 120 million users worldwide and Jill Popelka oversaw the launch of several successful new software products, including SAP Work Zone for HR.

Paula Hansen has helped scale the business from c.$530 million in revenue in 2021 to over $900 million in 2023. Before this, Paula was CRO of SAP Customer Experience where she led Product Sales, Presales, Channel, Go-to-Market, Operations, and Customer Success in support of the company’s 10,000+ Customer Experience customers. Paula spent 19 years at Cisco which she left as VP of Global Enterprise West.
