– UK, London – Bunzl plc (LON: BNZL), the specialist international distribution and Services Group, today announced the appointment of Jacky Simmonds to its Board as a non-executive director with effect from 1 March 2023.
“I am delighted that Jacky has agreed to join the Board as a non-executive director. Through her executive and non-executive roles, she brings a wealth of international and listed company experience to the Board, and I am confident that this experience, coupled with Jacky’s extensive HR expertise will enhance and strengthen the capabilities and diversity of the Board further.” said Board Chairman, Peter Ventress.
She will also join the Remuneration, Audit, Nomination, and Board Sustainability Committees.

Jacky Simmonds is presently CPO of Experian plc. She has significant knowledge and experience across all aspects of HR, with particular expertise in employee engagement, transformational change, board and leadership succession planning, employee relations, and talent management. She was formerly the CPO of VEON Ltd., a global connectivity and digital services provider listed on the Nasdaq and Euronext. Before this, she held the role of Group People Director at easyJet plc and TUI Travel Group and was a member of the companies’ Executive Committees. She was also previously a non-executive director of Ferguson plc.
