Bunzl announces Dr. Pamela Kirby to join its Board as Non-Executive Director

– UK, London –  Bunzl plc (LON: BNZL), the specialist international distribution and services Group, today announced the appointment of Dr. Pamela Kirby to its Board as a non-executive director, with effect from 1 August 2022.

“I am delighted to welcome Pamela Kirby to Bunzl as a non-executive director. Through her executive and non-executive roles, she brings a wealth of international distribution, strategic and UK listed company experience to the Board and I am confident that she will enhance and strengthen the capabilities and diversity of the Board further.” said Board chairman, Peter Ventress.

Dr. Pamela Kirby will also join the Remuneration, Audit, Nomination, and Board Sustainability Committees.

About Dr. Pamela Kirby

Pamela Kirby has significant knowledge and experience in global businesses, having worked in several international roles for over 30 years. She has held senior executive positions at AstraZeneca PLC and F. Hoffman-La Roche Ltd. and was formerly CEO of Quintiles Transnational Corporation. She was also previously a non-executive director of DCC plc, Hikma Pharmaceuticals PLC, and Senior Independent Director of Victrex plc.

She is presently a non-executive director of Reckitt Benckiser Group PLC and a member of the supervisory board of AkzoNobel N.V.
