Vertu Motors appoints Andy Goss to its Board as Independent Director

– UK, Gateshead – Vertu Motors plc (AIM:VTU), the automotive retailer with a network of 125 sales outlets across the UK, today announced the appointment of Andrew Goss to the Board as an independent Non-executive Director with immediate effect.

Andrew brings to the Group 39 years of experience in the automotive sector, having held senior roles in Citroen UK, Nissan Europe, Lexus (GB), Toyota (GB), Porsche and most recently Jaguar Land Rover. Between 2010 and 2013 Andrew headed Jaguar Land Rover’s business in North America as its President and CEO, and between 2013 and 2018 he sat on the Jaguar Land Rover Board as Global Sales Operations Director. During this period he also represented Jaguar Land Rover in its joint venture interests in China and in its Spark 44 advertising agency.

Andrew will sit as a member of the audit, nominations and remuneration committees.
