Allied Gaming appoints Chi Zhao to its Board as Independent Director

– USA, NY –  Allied Gaming & Entertainment, Inc. (NASDAQ: AGAE), a global experiential entertainment company, announced the appointment of Ms. Chi Zhao to its Board as an Independent Director effective April 30, 2024. She will join the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee as Chair, and the Compensation Committee as a member.

The company has also announced the resignations of Adam Pliska and CEO Yinghua Chen from the Board of Directors. Ms. Yinghua Chen will continue in her role as CEO.

About Chi Zhao

Ms. Chi Zhao is an experienced multinational and academic with a background in strategic management, board governance, non-profit organizations, and corporate oversight. Ms. Zhao is a Research Fellow at the Ash Center at Harvard Kennedy School and facilitates highest-level inter-governmental closed-door roundtables, seminars, and forums. Previously she was the Director, of Investor Relations at Unity Ventures, a top venture capitalist firm based in Beijing. Ms. Zhao received a Bachelor of Arts from Eastern Kentucky University and a Master of Arts from Morehead State University. Recently, Ms. Zhao became a Mason Scholar at the Harvard Kennedy School.
