Vertu Motors welcomes John Mewett to its Board as Independent Director

– UK, Gateshead –  Vertu Motors plc (LON: VTU), the automotive retailer with a network of 189 sales outlets across the UK, today announced the appointment of John Mewett to its Board as an Independent Non-executive Director, effective from 5 June 2023.

About Jonathan Mark Mewett

John is currently CEO of Screwfix, part of the Kingfisher plc group. John is a member of the Executive team at Kingfisher plc, responsible for developing the Screwfix business across the UK, Ireland, and France. With over 25 years of retail experience, he has held previous roles as Screwfix’s Marketing Director and Digital Director and as Group Digital Director of its parent Kingfisher plc.
