– UK, Bradford – Vanquis Banking Group (LON: VANQ) today announced the appointment of Michele Greene to its Board as a Non-Executive Director effective from 9 March 2023.

Michele brings significant experience across technology, banking, and payments as we continue the development of the organisation as a specialist banking group with a focus on customers in the mid-cost and near-prime markets,” said Board Chairman, Patrick Snowball.
Michele Greene will also join the Nomination, Risk and Customer, Culture, and Ethics Committees.
About Michele Greene
Michele Greene is a highly experienced finance professional at the executive and Board levels. She has held senior roles at Virgin Money and MBNA Europe Bank and, before that, she worked across various finance functions at Goldman Sachs, Credit Lyonnais, and KPMG Dublin. At Virgin Money, Michele was Director of Strategic Development, where she was responsible for establishing a credit card business on a newly built IT platform and was subsequently appointed as the Managing Director of the Virgin Money Digital Bank. Prior to that, she was CFO of MBNA Europe Bank between 2005 and 2013.
Michele Greene is currently Executive Director and co-founder of Mololo Limited, a boutique advisory company specializing in helping companies in the payments and unsecured lending space. She also holds Non-Executive Director seats at Bank of Ireland plc, Fair Finance, and Davy Financial Services Group.

Michele Greene is a Chartered Accountant and an experienced business executive and finance professional, operating at executive management and board level. She received a BSc and MA from Trinity College Dublin and is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland. Previously, Michele served as Managing Director for Virgin Money’s Digital Bank where she was responsible for defining the strategy and determining the business model to deliver a standalone digital banking business. Michele joined Virgin Money, initially as Director of Banking, with responsibility for building the bank’s new credit card business. She also served as CFO of MBNA Europe during a period of significant change.
