– UK, London – Trinity Mirror plc announces that they have today appointed Dr David Kelly as a non executive director with effect from 1st December 2014.
Dr Kelly is the founder and director of a number of pure play digital businesses. He is currently Chairman of Love Home Swap, MBA & Company, Pure360 and CarLoan4U. He is a non executive director of Holiday Extras, CDON.Com and Simply Business. He has previously been Operations Director of Amazon.com, COO of lastminute.com, and COO and Vice President Operations of eBay Europe. He was subsequently founder and CEO of mydeco and Senior Vice-President and MD International of Rackspace Hosting.
The Nominations Committee oversaw the search assisted by The Up Group before making a unanimous recommendation to the Board.
