– UK, Bury St Edmunds – Treatt PLC (LON: TET), the manufacturer and supplier of a diverse and sustainable portfolio of natural extracts and ingredients today announced the appointment of Vijay Thakrar as Chairman Designate to succeed Tim Jones who will retire as Chairman at the AGM on 27 January 2023.
“I am delighted to announce that Vijay will succeed me as Chairman of Treatt next year. Vijay has substantial experience from a broad business and non-executive career covering several large international organisations, as well as extensive knowledge of Treatt,” said Board Chairman, Tim Jones.
The Company also announced that Lynne Weedall will resign as a Non-executive Director with effect from 17 September 2022.
About Vijay Thakrar
Vijay Thakrar joined the Board of Treatt as an independent non-executive director on 1 September 2020. He is currently a non-executive director on the Boards of Alpha FX Group plc and RSM UK Holdings Limited and the Non-executive Chairman of Alumasc Group plc.
