Swisscharge.ch merges with Protoscar and appoints Ruth Happersberger as Chair of the Board of Directors and Ilaria Besozzi as CEO

– SWITZERLAND, St. Gallen –  Swisscharge.ch today announced its merger with consulting company Protoscar to form a complete competence center for Swiss electromobility.

The two directorates composed of Marius Schwering, Moritz Fischer, Renzo Iten, and Sascha Krucker form the new directorate of the new swisscharge.ch with Ilaria Besozzi at its head as CEO.

As of March 1, 2023, Ruth Happersberger assumes the role of Chair of the Board of Directors of swisscharge.ch.

The two companies are Energy 360° shareholdings, and the merger will make it possible to accelerate the charging network even faster as well as the electrification of residential real estate and business fleets. Customers will benefit from an expanded portfolio of services.

On October 1, 2023, the market leader swisscharge.ch and the pioneering electromobility company Protoscar merged under the name swisscharge.ch while Protoscar will become a brand name.
