David has spent the last several years in private equity as an operating partner, often as Executive Chairman, with several sponsors including Thoma Bravo, TPG, Garnett Helfrich, and most recently Sunstone Partners. Over his career as an operating executive, David was instrumental in building Conga, Qlik Tech, Blue Coat, Mercury Interactive, and Tivoli Systems into market leaders.
