eEnergy appoints Board member Andrew Lawley as new Non-Executive Chairman alongside John Hornby joining the Board as Non-Executive Director

– UK, London –  eEnergy Group plc (LON: EAAS) today announced the appointment of current Non-Executive Director Andrew Lawley as Non-Executive Chair with immediate effect, succeeding John Foley who is stepping down from the board. Concurrently, the Company also announced the appointment of John Hornby to the board as Non-Executive Director with immediate effect.

David Nicholl is stepping down from the board, effective immediately.

About John Hornby

John Hornby is CEO of Luceco plc which, following its strategic investment into the Company in November 2023, holds an interest in 9.96% of eEnergy’s issued shares. He originally joined Luceco in 1997 and led the management buyout of the company in 2000 as well as the secondary buyout with EPIC Investment Partners LLP in 2005, in his capacity as CEO at that time. John began his career with Knox D’Arcy Management Consultants following his graduation from the University of Oxford where he obtained a degree in Economics.
