– UK, Margate – Hornby Plc (LON: HRN), the international models and collectibles group, today announced the appointment of Neil Sachdev MBE to its Board as Non-Executive Chairman with immediate effect, replacing Interim Non-Executive Chairman John Stansfield who remains on the Board as an Independent Non-Executive Director.
“We’re delighted to have someone of Neil’s calibre joining us as Non-Exec Chairman. This is a pivotal time for Hornby and Neil’s retail and supply chain experience will add a valuable perspective, and provide welcomed support, to the turnaround that’s already underway.” said CEO Olly Raeburn.
About Neil Sachdev
An experienced NED who also works with several Public Service organizations, Neil Sachdev is Chair at HM Land Registry, EastWest Rail Company, and Network Rail Property Company, as well as being a Council Member at The University of Warwick. During Neil’s Exec career, he served as Stores Board Director at Tesco, responsible for property and operations for the UK business, and Group Property Director at J Sainsbury.
