SIG announces Kate Allum as designated Non-Executive Director for engagement with the Company’s workforce

– UK, Sheffield –  SIG plc (LON: SHI) today announced the appointment of Kate Allum as designated non-executive director for engagement with the Company’s workforce, in line with the provisions of the July 2018 UK Corporate Governance Code. The appointment will take effect from 1 January 2020.

SIG is a leading supplier of specialist building materials to trade customers across Europe, with strong positions in its core markets as a specialist distributor of insulation and interior products and a merchant of roofing and exteriors products.

Additionally, the Company also announced that Andrew Allner will become a member of the Remuneration Committee with effect from 1 January 2020 and that after almost 5 years, Andrea Abt has advised the Board of her intention to step down from the Board on 12 February 2020 for personal reasons.
