Schroder UK Public Private Trust welcomes Tim Edwards to its Board as Independent Director and next Chairman

– UK, London –  Schroder UK Public-Private Trust plc (LON: SUPP) today announced the appointment of Tim Edwards to its Board as an independent non-executive director, effective 26 February 2021.

Mr. Edwards should succeed Susan Searle as Board Chair following her retirement once the AGM has concluded.

“The appointment of Tim is in line with the Board’s agreed succession plans, as outlined in the Annual Report for the year ended 31 December 2019, and follows an extensive independent search over the last twelve months to find a candidate with the appropriate balance of skills and experience to complement those of the current Directors. Mr. Edwards has also been appointed a member of the Audit, Risk and Valuation, Management Engagement, and Nomination Committees.
