– UK, London – Santander UK Group Holdings PLC (LON: 95VC) announced the appointment of Mahesh Aditya to its Board as a Non-Executive Director nominated by Banco Santander, S.A., effective from 1 October 2025.
About Mahesh Aditya
Mahesh Aditya has been Santander’s Group CRO since 2023. He joined Santander in 2017 as COO of Santander Holdings USA, Inc. (SHUSA) and took the position of US CRO in 2018 until 2019, when he became Santander Consumer USA CEO, holding that position until 2023.
Mahesh Aditya has over 30 years’ experience in financial services with a particular focus on international markets and Risk Management. He specialises in building organisations, establishing control processes, project management, and managing through a variety of regulatory environments.
Mahesh Aditya is a director of the SHUSA, PagoNxt, S.L., Open Bank, S.A., and Santander Consumer Finance, S.A. Boards.
