Rotork adds Svein Brandtzæg to its Board as Independent Director and announces Andrew Heath as next Senior Independent Director

– UK, Bath –  Rotork plc (LON: ROR), the market-leading global provider of mission-critical intelligent flow control solutions, announced the appointment of Svein Richard Brandtzæg to its Board as an independent non-executive director with effect immediately.

The company also announced that Andrew Heath will succeed Tim Cobbold as Senior Independent Director from 1 January 2025.

About Svein Richard Brandtzæg

Svein Richard Brandtzæg is Chair of dormakaba Holding AG and a non-executive director of Mondi plc and is also Chair of the Council on Ethics for Norges Bank Investment Management. Svein Richard will be stepping down as a non-executive director of Eramet Norway AS on 1 December 2024. From 2009 to 2019 Svein Richard was Chief Executive of Norsk Hydro ASA. He has since held several non-executive positions, including Chair of Veidekke ASA from 2019 until May 2022, Vice-Chair of Den Norske Bank ASA until April 2023 and Vice-Chair of Swiss Steel Holding AG until October 2023. Svein Richard holds a PhD in Chemistry from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and is a fellow of the Norwegian Academy of Technological Sciences.
