Premier Foods announces Yuichiro Kogo to its Board as Non-Executive Director

– UK, St Albans –  Premier Foods PLC (LON: PFD) today announced the appointment of Yuichiro Kogo to its Board as a non-executive director, effective on 25 March 2021, replacing Shinji Honda as Nissin’s representative director, following his decision to retire from Nissin Foods Holdings Company Limited.

“I am pleased to welcome Mr Kogo to the Board, having met with him on a number of occasions since my appointment, and I look forward to working with him in the future.” said Board Chairman, Colin Day.

He added: “I would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr. Honda for his significant contribution to both the Board and the relationship between Premier Foods and Nissin, which has helped the continued success of our partnership and ongoing strong performance of Premier Foods.”

About Yuichiro Kogo

Mr. Kogo is Head of Business Development, responsible for devising Nissin’s M&A strategy, as well as originating and executing business alliance and investment transactions. Before joining Nissin in 2016, he spent nine years in the Investment Banking Division of Goldman Sachs Japan Company Limited, advising Japanese and international clients. He holds an MBA from the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago.
