Polar Capital Technology Trust announces Jane Pearce and Catherine Cripps to its Board as Independent Directors

– UK, London –  Polar Capital Technology Trust plc (LON: PCT) today announced the appointment of Jane Pearce and Catherine Cripps to its Board as independent non-executive Directors with effect from 6 September 2021.

About Jane Pearce

Jane Pearce is an experienced non-executive director and Chartered Accountant with over 20 years’ financial markets experience. She is currently a non-executive director of Shires Income plc and a Co-opted External Member of the Audit and Risk Committee of the University of St Andrews. Jane has several years of experience as a Technology Equity Analyst and as an Equity Strategist at leading investment banks. She has a strong and recent understanding of corporate governance and current accounting standards.

About Catherine Cripps

Catherine Cripps is currently a non-executive director of Goldman Sachs International, Goldman Sachs International Bank and the Nuclear Liabilities Fund Limited. She also acts as Chair of the Goldman Sachs International and Goldman Sachs International Bank Board Risk Committees and is a member of the Audit Committees and she is also Chair of the Investment Committee of NLF. She has recently stepped down as non-executive director of CQS Management Limited after 8 years of service Chairing the Remuneration Committee and the Performance Management Committee and as a member of the CQS Audit Committee. Catherine has in excess of 30 years’ senior investment industry experience in a number of roles including Investment Director and Head of Research at GAM International.
