– UK, Edinburgh – Personal Assets Trust plc (LON: PNL) today announced the proposed appointment of Mandy Clements and Robbie Robertson to its Board as non-executive Directors with effect from the conclusion of the Annual General Meeting on 18 September 2020.
As noted in the Annual Report for the year ended 30 April 2020 Robin Angus and Hamish Buchan will retire from the Board at the conclusion of the upcoming Annual General Meeting on 18 September 2020.
About Mandy Clements
Until December 2019 Mandy Clements (nee Pike) was CEO of legal entities responsible for £300 billion of assets at Aberdeen Standard Investments, having worked at the group for 19 years. She also oversaw the dealing function globally for over 14 years and has held dealing roles at F&C Asset Management (Foreign and Colonial), Brewin Dolphin and BNP Capital Markets, having started her career at Grieveson Grant Stockbrokers in 1983.
About Robbie Robertson
During a 37 year career in investment trust broking, Robbie Robertson gained extensive experience of investment trust sales, research and corporate advisory services. He worked as an investment trust analyst for Laurence Prust and Wood Mackenzie, and then headed the investment companies teams at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein, and Canaccord Genuity. He is currently a Special Adviser to Investec Bank plc. Robbie holds an M.A. in English Literature from Edinburgh University and an M.Litt from Oxford University.
