– UK, Manchester – N Brown Group Plc (LON: BWNG), today confirmed the appointment of Dominic Platt to its Board as an Independent Non-Executive Director with immediate effect, subject to FCA approval.
Dominic Platt will chair the Audit & Risk Committee, replacing Vicky Mitchell who has assumed the role in an interim capacity since 31 March 2021.
Following these changes, the Board will comprise the Chair (who was independent on appointment), the Group CEO and CFO, and seven Non-Executive Directors, five of whom are considered to be independent.
About Dominic Platt
Dominic Platt is the current CFO of BGL Group, a position he has held since March 2016. Before joining BGL, Dominic spent five years at Darty plc from 2010-2015, where he was Group Finance Director and Managing Director of International Businesses. Before Darty, Dominic spent 18 years at Cable and Wireless plc where he held several financial roles. Dominic has extensive experience in consumer-focused public companies operating in a regulated environment. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
