Morgan Advanced Materials announces Laurence Mulliez to its Board as upcoming Non-Executive Director

– UK, Windsor – Morgan Advanced Materials plc (LSE:MGAM), announces that Laurence Mulliez is appointed to the Board, as a non-executive director, with effect from the conclusion of the Company’s Annual General Meeting on 6 May 2016.

Laurence is chairman of Voltalia, the French renewables power developer, and a non-executive director at Aperam, SBM Offshore and the UK Green Investment Bank. She was previously chief executive of independent power producer Eoxis from 2010 to 2013 and spent 16 years prior to that at BP in a variety of roles including chief executive of Castrol Industrial Lubricants and Services, a global business with 2000 employees in 37 countries. Earlier in her career she worked at Amoco Chemical, M&M Mars and Banque Nationale de Paris.

The appointment follows a comprehensive search process led by the Nomination Committee. Following Laurence’s appointment, the Board will comprise five non-executive directors and two executive directors.
