– UK, London – Mobeus Income & Growth 4 VCT plc (LON: MIG4) today announced the appointment of Jonathan Cartwright to its Board as a Non-Executive Director effective immediately. He will also join the Audit, Nomination & Remuneration and Investment Committees of the Company.
Christopher Moore has advised the Board that he will retire as Chairman and a Director of the Company on 30 September 2020. Jonathan will be appointed Chairman with effect from 1 October 2020.
The Board welcomes Jonathan’s invaluable experience as he seeks to take the Company forward beyond Christopher Moore’s forthcoming retirement from the Company.
About Jonathan Cartwright
Jonathan Cartwright is a qualified Chartered Accountant with significant experience of the investment trust sector and of serving on the boards of both public and private companies in executive and Non-Executive roles.
Currently, he is a Non-Executive Director of British Smaller Companies VCT plc and Chairman of BMO Capital and Income Investment Trust plc. In the last five years he has also held Board positions as Chairman of BlackRock Income and Growth Investment Trust plc; Aberforth Split Level Income Trust PLC and Aberforth Geared Income Trust Plc.
He was also a Non-Executive Director of The Income & Growth VCT plc until earlier this year, holding an interim appointment as Chairman of the board for a period of nine months.
