– UK, London – Merchants Trust PLC (LON: MRCH) today announced the appointment of Lisa Edgar and Mal Patel to its Board as Non-Executive Directors effective from 1 January 2024 and 1 March 2024 respectively.
Lisa Edgar will join the Audit Committee, Nomination Committee, Management Engagement Committee, and Remuneration Committee, while will serve on the Audit Committee, Nomination Committee, Management Engagement Committee, and Remuneration Committee.
The company also announced that Mary Ann Sieghart will retire from the board on 25 January 2024 while Sybella Stanley will retire from the board on 21 March 2024.
“The board welcomes the two new directors and would like to thank Mary Ann and Sybella for their outstanding commitment to the trust and for their contribution and advice.” said Board Chairman, Colin Clark.
Karen McKellar will replace Sybella Stanley as Senior Independent Director at Sybella’s retirement.
