– UK, London – Kore Potash plc (LON: KP2 | ASX: KP2 | JSE: KP2), the potash development company with 97%-ownership of the Kola and DX Potash Projects in the Sintoukola Basin, located within the Republic of Congo, today announced the appointment of Ms Trinidad Reyes to its Board as a Non-Executive Director nominated by Sociedad Química y Minera de Chile S.A. with immediate effect.
“I am very pleased to welcome Trinidad to the Board of Kore Potash. Through her role in SQM, Trinidad has been following Kore’s projects for the full term of SQM’s investment and is well-positioned to contribute at the Board level,” said Non-executive Chairman, David Hathorn.
He added: “The technical support and investment from SQM has proved invaluable to the Company and we look forward to continued close co-operation as we advance our objective of becoming one of the world’s lowest-cost potash producers.”
Trinidad replaces Jose Antonio Merino, who has resigned from the Board with immediate effect.
David Hathorn commented: “We also take this opportunity to thank Jose Antonio for his valuable contribution to the governance of Kore over the past 2 years and wish him well for his future endeavours.”

Trinidad Reyes joined SQM as a graduate in 2012 and is currently M&A Director, before which she worked in a variety of roles across SQM. Trinidad is a qualified Civil Engineer having graduated from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
