Kore Potash appoints Ignacio Majluf to its Board as Non-Executive Director

– UK, London –  Kore Potash plc (LON: KP2 | JSE: KP2 | ASX: KP2), the potash development company with 97%-ownership of the Kola and DX Potash Projects in the Sintoukola Basin, located within the Republic of Congo, today announced the appointment of Ignacio Majluf to its Board as a Non-Executive Director, effective from 1 September 2021 as representative of shareholder Sociedad Química y Minera de Chile (SQM)

Ignacio replaces Ms. Trinidad Reyes, who has taken maternity leave from SQM and has resigned from the Board with effect from 1 September 2021.

“I am pleased to welcome Ignacio to the Board of Kore Potash. Ignacio has a strong commercial focus and sound understanding of the SQM business from his time spent representing SQM in Europe.” said Non-executive Chairman, David Hathorn.

Ignacio Majluf joined SQM in 2013 and reports to the CFO of SQM. Ignacio completed an Industrial Civil Engineering degree specializing in environmental engineering having graduated from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile in 2013. Ignacio also completed the Executive MBA at the Antwerp Management School in 2021.
