– IRELAND, Dublin – Keywords Studios (AIM:KWS), the international technical services provider to the global video games industry is pleased to announce the appointment of David Broderick as Group Finance Director with immediate effect.
David, 42, will be based in Dublin and will replace Andrew Lawton who, after two years with the Group, has decided to pursue other opportunities closer to his home in the UK. Andrew will remain with the Group over the next month to work closely with David to ensure a smooth transition.
David joins Keywords from Dublin-based Arconics, a high-growth aviation software company where he has been Chief Financial Officer since early 2015. Prior to this, David was the Finance Director of European regional airline, Stobart Air, during a period of significant growth in 2013-2014.
David previously spent eight years at Europe’s largest low-cost airline, Ryanair Holdings plc, the latter six years of which were spent as Head of Investor Relations and overseeing the group’s Inflight Sales Unit’s finances and operations.
Andrew Day, Chief Executive of Keywords, commented: “On behalf of the Board, I would like to thank Andrew for his positive contribution to the Group over the last two years. During his tenure, the Group has grown from 10 to 23 facilities across Europe, North and South America and Asia and achieved a near five-fold increase in revenues through organic growth and nine acquisitions.”
“We are delighted to welcome David to the Group. His extensive experience of working as a senior member of management teams within a number of high growth businesses will no doubt prove invaluable as we continue to develop Keywords Studios both organically and by acquisition.”
