Kerry Group adds Michael Kerr to its Board as Non-Executive Director and announces Dr. Hugh Brady as Senior Independent Director

– IRELAND, Tralee –  Kerry Group plc (LON: KYGA | OTC: KRYAF) today announced the appointment of Michael Kerr to its Board as a non-executive director with effect from 3 May 2021.

Ms. Joan Garahy retired from the Board of Directors effective today and will be succeeded by Dr. Hugh Brady as Senior Independent Director and by Tom Moran as Chair of the Remuneration Committee with effect from 29 April 2021.

His addition brings significant and wide-ranging business leadership and experience across global capital markets, and in particular U.S. markets, which will further strengthen the broad range of skills and experience on Kerry’s Board” said Board Chairman, Philip Toomey.

Mr. Kerr has over 36 years of investment management experience having retired after a long and successful career with Capital Group, one of the world’s oldest and largest investment management organizations. He will bring to the Board a detailed knowledge of global equity capital markets, extensive business leadership skills, and insights into the North American market.

Mr. Kerr is currently a non-executive director with EOG Resources Inc, which is listed on the New York Stock Exchange.
