JPMorgan Japanese Investment Trust appoints Yoko Dochi to its Board as Non-Executive Director

– UK, London –  JPMorgan Japanese Investment Trust plc (LON: JFJ) today announced the appointment of Yoko Dochi to its Board as a non-executive Director with immediate effect.

Commenting on the appointment Christopher Samuel stated: “Yoko’s most recent roles as a senior executive at SoftBank and Toyota, following periods at the World Bank and the Bank of Tokyo, means she will bring further knowledge, experience and insight of, amongst other things, Japan, Japanese corporations and shareholder communications to the Board. I am therefore delighted to welcome her and look forward, with my Board colleagues, to the insights and contributions that she will bring to the Board’s discussions.”

About Yoko Dochi

Ms Dochi held positions of Managing Director, Global Head of Investor Relations at SoftBank Group Corp (2018-2020) and General Manager, Head of Global Treasury & Investor Relations at Toyota Motor Europe (2001-2018). She is also a former investment banker at World Bank and the Bank of Tokyo (now Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group).

Ms Dochi is a director of NIPPO Limited, a JASDAQ listed company in Japan.
