– UK, London – Insig AI plc (LON: INSG), the data science and ESG solutions company, today announced the appointment of Richard Cooper to its board as an independent non-executive director.

Richard Cooper will also join the Audit Committee as its Chair.
About Richard Cooper
Richard Cooper has over 25 years’ experience as CFO across both publicly-traded and privately-owned companies in a variety of service industries, including gaming and financial services. He is currently CFO of Equals Group plc, an AIM-quoted Fintech company. He also holds the role of Chairman and non-executive director of Engage XR Holdings Plc, also quoted on AIM.
From December 2008 until February 2017, Mr Cooper was CFO of GVC Holdings plc (now Entain plc). He also served as a non-executive director, and Chair of the Audit Committee of Sportech plc from May 2017 until October 2018.
Richard Cooper said: “It is clear that Insig AI is operating in a fascinating and fast-growing area in the fintech space, particularly in respect of the ESG data tools it is developing for the asset-management industry. I look forward to using my skills and experience to help in its development and I am sure it will also be a valuable and interesting learning experience for me too.”
Mr. Cooper was a director of Sonco UK Bidco Limited and Sonco Gaming UK Limited from 28 January 2019 to 22 December 2021. On 13 October 2021, Sonco UK Bidco Limited and Sonco Gaming UK Limited were both placed into administration as a consequence of covid restrictions preventing trading, with the administration ongoing.
