– UK, Margate – Hornby Plc (LON: HRN), the international models and collectibles group, today announced that Dan Carter will join the Board as an Independent Non-Executive Director.
Dan Carter is currently an analyst at Phoenix Asset Management. Dan holds no shares in the Company but has an interest in the Aurora Investment Trust which owns 14.2% of the ordinary shares of the Company.
“The Board is delighted to welcome Dan to the Board and look forward to his contribution to the next stage of the turnaround process.” said Non-Executive Chairman, John Stansfield.
The company also announced that James Wilson will leave his role as a Non-Executive Director of Hornby Plc. James has decided now is the right time to hand over responsibilities as the commitments increase to his other Board appointment and The Huginn Fund.
John Stansfield commented: “The Board would like to thank James Wilson for his contribution to the Group over the past three years during a period of significant change for the business, of which he was instrumental. James leaves Hornby with our very best wishes for the future.”
