– UK, Hemel Hempstead – Hollywood Bowl Group plc (LON: BOWL), the UK and Canada’s largest ten-pin bowling operator, today announced the appointment of Rachel Addison to its Board as an Independent Non-Executive Director effective from 1 September 2023.
“I am delighted to welcome Rachel to the Board. Rachel will bring significant financial and operational experience, including in digital media, which will be of great value to the Board and the Company,” said Board Chairman, Peter Boddy.
Rachel Addison will also join the Audit, Remuneration, and Nomination Committees.
About Rachel Addison
Rachel Addison has circa 30 years of finance and operational management experience. She has held several senior leadership and board positions across media and technology businesses, including as CFO at Future plc and T1 Media Limited, and senior roles at a variety of businesses including Reach plc, Local World Limited, Northcliffe Media Limited, and Boots the Chemist.
Rachel is a Chartered Accountant having started her career at Arthur Anderson.
Rachel Addison currently serves as a Non-Executive Director and Audit Committee Chair at Watkin Jones plc and Marlowe plc both quoted on AIM. She is also a Non-Executive Director of AIM quoted Gamma Communications plc, Mango Publishing Group, U, and Wates Group Limited.
