– UK, Birmingham – Headlam Group plc (LON: HEAD), the leading floorcoverings distributor, today announced the appointments of Robin Williams and Jemima Bird to its Board as Independent Non-Executive Directors, with immediate effect.
“We are delighted to welcome both Robin and Jemima to the Board. Along with the recent appointment of Karen Hubbard, we now have a full complement of independent expertise and insight to drive and oversee the Company’s strategy,” said Board Chairman, Keith Edelman.
Robin and Jemima have joined the Audit, Nomination, and Remuneration Committees, with Robin becoming Chair of the Audit Committee and Jemima becoming Chair of the Remuneration Committee.
Concurrently, the company also announced that Amanda Aldridge and Simon King have stepped down from the Board.

Robin Williams has over 30 years of experience with listed companies, including founder, CEO, and Executive Director with FTSE250 companies within the packaging and building materials industries. He is currently the Non-Executive Chairman of Keystone Law Group plc and FIH Group plc and a Non-Executive Director at The Manufacturing Technology Centre Ltd. He was previously a Non-Executive Director at Van Elle Holdings plc and Non-Executive Chairman of Xaar plc, stepping down in 2020 after 10 years on the Board.
