Zarin Patel is a chartered accountant who spent 16 years at KPMG followed by a nine-year period as CFO of the BBC, and latterly was COOr of The Grass Roots Group plc, a customer and employee engagement specialist.
Zarin Patel is a non-executive director and Chair of the Audit Committee of Anglian Water Services Limited and Pets at Home plc, the Senior Independent Director of Post Office Limited and a member of its Audit and Risk Committee, a member of the HM Treasury Board, and Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee of HM Treasury.
Zarin Patel is a Trustee of the National Trust and chair of its Audit Committee.
