Hardide welcomes Andrew Magson to its Board of Directors as Non-Executive Chairman

– UK, Bicester –  Hardide plc (LON: HDD), the developer and provider of advanced surface coating technology, today announced the appointment of Andrew Magson as Non-Executive Chair, succeeding Robert Goddard who will continue as a Non-Executive Director for the remainder of the calendar year.

Andrew Magson will also take over Robert’s roles as Chair of the Audit Committee, the Sustainability and Risk Committee, and as member of the Intellectual Property Committee.

About Andrew Magson

Andrew Magson has more than 15 years of experience serving on the boards of UK public companies in the engineering and industrial manufacturing sectors. He was the Executive Director, CFO, and Company Secretary of The Alumasc Group plc between 2006 and 2020. Before that, Andrew was Group Financial Controller at BPB plc, where he also worked internationally in M&A and operations. Andrew spent his earlier career at PwC in London where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant. He holds a Business degree from The University of Bath.

Andrew Magson is currently a Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Audit Committee at AIM-listed Renold plc and is a Pension Trustee and Chair of the Pension Investment Committee at The Alumasc Group plc.
