– IRELAND, Dublin – Greencoat Renewables PLC (LON: GRP), the renewable infrastructure company invested in euro-dominated assets, today announced the appointment of Eva Lindqvist to its Board as a non-executive director, effective immediately.
“We are pleased with the appointment of Eva as a non-executive director which will broaden the overall expertise and experience of the Board. Eva’s international Board experience, together with senior management roles in the industrial and services sectors, will be of significant value to the Company. We look forward to Eva’s contribution to the Company’s European growth strategy.” said Board chairman, Ronan Murphy.
Eva Lindqvist will also join the Audit, Management Engagement, Nomination and Remuneration Committees.
About Eva Lindqvist
Eva Lindqvist is an experienced company Chair and Non-Executive Director with extensive international experience in telecoms and infrastructure, having worked for more than 30 years across these sectors. She spent the majority of her career at Ericsson where she held several senior management positions. In 2007, she was appointed CEO of Xelerated Holdings AB, an international technology company specializing in semiconductors, where she held the position until 2011. Since then, she has held several Chair and non-executive director roles.
Eva Lindqvist graduated with a Master of Science in Engineering and Applied Physics from the Linkoping Institute of Technology and held an MBA from the University of Melbourne. She is a member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences.
