– UK, Leeds – Genuit Group plc (LON: GEN), a leading provider of sustainable water and climate management solutions for the built environment, today announced the appointment of Bronagh Kennedy to its Board as a Non-Executive Director effective from 3 July 2023.
Bronagh Kennedy will also join the Audit, Nomination, and Remuneration Committees.
About Bronagh Kennedy
Bronagh Kennedy was the Group General Counsel and Company Secretary of Severn Trent Plc from 2011 to 2022, and as part of her role, she was also responsible for compliance and regulatory assurance and the group’s corporate sustainability program. During her career, she has worked across several sectors including finance, leisure, and hospitality and she has a very broad range of corporate experience, including as HR Director of Mitchells & Butlers plc.
Bronagh has previously been a Non-Executive Director of Wolseley (Ferguson plc carve-out before its disposal) and is currently a Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Remuneration Committee of Treatt plc. Her knowledge and experience across sectors and within corporate governance, HR, legal and sustainability roles will complement the current skills, diversity, and composition of the Board.
Ms Kennedy is currently Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Remuneration Committee of Treatt plc which is listed on the London Stock Exchange. She was a Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Remuneration Committee for Wolseley Group from 2020 to 2021.
