Fidelity Emerging Markets appoints Julian Healy to its Board as Independent Director

– UK, Kent –  Fidelity Emerging Markets Limited (LON: FEML) today announced the appointment of Julian Healy to its board as an independent non-executive director with immediate effect.

Mr. Healy will also join the Audit and Risk Committee and should succeed Russell Edey as Chair of that committee in the first half of 2023.

About Julian Healy

Julian Healy has over 25 years of experience working for large financial institutions with a focus on emerging and frontier markets, including roles at several investment companies and banks in Asia and Central and Eastern Europe. In addition to the roles described above, he served as a director of XacBank, a retail and business bank in Mongolia. Previously, Mr. Healy led the Private Equity team at the European Bank for Reconstruction & Development, before which he spent ten years at JP Morgan Fleming Investment Management and its predecessor, Fleming Investment Management.

Mr. Healy is a chartered accountant and a graduate of Cambridge University with a BA in Modern Languages.
